Biography
Marija Pavlović, junior researcher at FTM,obtained her BSc degree in chemical engineering at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade in 2020. with 9.33 GPA. She defended her thesis on the topic “Investigation of the Possibilities of Obtaining Alginate Hydrogels in the Form of Microfibers.” She obtained her MSc degree at the same faculty in 2021 with 10.00 GPA. Her master’s thesis focused on “Investigation of Macroporous Composite Alginate Hydrogels with Hydroxyapatite Precursor Particles for Osteosarcoma Cell Cultivation.”
During her studies, she was a scholarship recipient from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development and also received a scholarship from the Dositeja Fund for Young Talents of Serbia. In 2022, she enrolled in PhD program in chemical engineering at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy.
Furthermore, Marija attended the accredited international school ExellMater, with a focus on “Biomaterials aimed for dental and orthopedic applications..” She also participated in another session, with a focus on “Bioactive hydrogels and hydrogel nanocomposites aimed for wound treatments”
